The Brief

Show Singaporeans that persons on the autism spectrum are not broken or mental. They are just different. Simply put: perfectly imperfect.

The Work

Through social media campaign ‘This Is Me’, executed during World Autism Awareness Month 2022, we encouraged the public to see persons on the autism spectrum in a different light. At the heart of our campaign were 10 feature stories of inspiring individuals – persons on the autism spectrum, caregivers, and professional staff – accompanied by a series of comics that highlighted several little-known aspects of living on the spectrum.

The Results

We landed coverage in top-tier local press including The Straits Times, Mothership, Berita Harian, and AsiaOne, and received shout-outs on social media from local celebrities such as Paul Foster and Adrian Pang, and Member of Parliament Denise Phua. The campaign was awarded the 2022 W³ Award (Silver) by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts in New York in the Social Content & Marketing-Cause Awareness category and the Marketing Excellence Award in Singapore (Bronze) for Excellence in Public Sector/Non-Profit Marketing.

In the words of a Beyonce song, “Who run the world? You know it – girls.” To celebrate International Women’s Day, we were commissioned to write a fundraiser coffee table book centred on the stories of 13 inspiring women who have distinguished themselves in their fields.

The Work

Over the course of four months, we took the book from draft to print. It involved many visits to office towers, homes, and even factories to speak to these women entrepreneurs, along with many more hours of layout and proofreading. Thankfully, pizza and freebies were involved…

The Results

Lifting Half the Sky was launched at a charity gala dinner hosted by the EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) on International Women’s Day 2023. The event drew over 800 attendees and raised $1.2 million in donations for ECF’s youth and children programmes. We’re chuffed that our book was able to contribute towards the proceeds, as well as share uplifiting stories.

The Brief

Turning 70 is a time of celebration and reflection. Has it been smooth sailing or choppy waters? To commemorate the union’s anniversary, we were tasked with conceptualising and producing a series of articles that centred on its successes, pitfalls, and direction for the future.

The Work

We felt like cartographers mapping the contours of the past as we charted this organisation’s history, from the 1950s to present day. From extensive interviews with leaders past and present, we developed eight articles filled with stories of how a trade union turned the tide for Singapore’s maritime workforce.

The Results

By recovering the stories lost at sea, we stirred the hearts of more than 30,000 SMOU members and deepened their ties to the union.

The Brief

Singapore may be a small country, but we have no shortage of muscle-men and women gunning for top honours in the sporting world. Our job was to produce content for SNOC – both online and in print – to showcase Singapore’s commitment to being a sporting nation through its journey with sports and the Olympic movement.

The Work

Our athleticism might not rival Team Singapore, but our strength lies in our words. We spotlighted some of Singapore’s most accomplished athletes through riveting articles on SNOC’s content hub, published two books on Singapore’s history with the Olympic movement: Project 0812 and Ready, Set, Fiyah!, and even travelled to Buenos Aires and Lausanne to cover two Youth Olympic Games.

The Results

With the country’s growing love for sports and success in the Olympic Games, our stories kept readers at the forefront of Team Singapore news, fostering greater national pride and awareness towards our athletes and sports at large.
