Celebrating Singapore's women entrepreneurs
The Brief
In the words of a Beyonce song, “Who run the world? You know it – girls.” To celebrate International Women’s Day, we were commissioned to write a fundraiser coffee table book centred on the stories of 13 inspiring women who have distinguished themselves in their fields.
The Work
Over the course of four months, we took the book from draft to print. It involved many visits to office towers, homes, and even factories to speak to these women entrepreneurs, along with many more hours of layout and proofreading. Thankfully, pizza and freebies were involved…
The Results
Lifting Half the Sky was launched at a charity gala dinner hosted by the EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) on International Women’s Day 2023. The event drew over 800 attendees and raised $1.2 million in donations for ECF’s youth and children programmes. We’re chuffed that our book was able to contribute towards the proceeds, as well as share uplifiting stories.
