Making waves in maritime
The Brief
Plan, produce, and publish an eight-page newsletter for every day of Singapore Maritime Week (SMW), the region’s leading maritime event.
The Work
For a week, we reported not at Tai Seng, but at Marina Bay Sands. Armed with our laptops, notebooks, and recorders, we covered the most pressing issues in the maritime world. Each story then passed through rounds of rigorous checks from copyeditors before going into design and layout – all done in-house and under the pressure-cooker intensity of a hard deadline.
The Results
Six issues of a beautifully-designed newsletter filled with a lively mix of strong news stories, features, commentaries, and photo spreads. These reached up to 20,000 participants a year, many of them maritime thought leaders, and positioned MPA as the fulcrum of the international maritime community.
